...Till Death Do Us Part

Dear Dawn,

Yesterday, I attended someone's wedding ceremony.

No, that's not the first time I attended someone's wedding. In fact, it was my second time attending a wedding as an employee. Of course, there's this difference between attending family's wedding and coworker's wedding, the most important things is, "When should I give my 'gift' to the bride?"

Nah, just kidding.

The most important thing that I felt while attending her wedding is answering this bugging question in my mind,

"When will be my time?"

Yeah, I saw the groom and the bride at that church. They were walking, smiling, holding hands. They were ready to start a family, to merge two different ideals and habits... and to get enough money to sustain their dream family. They were prepared, both mentally... and financially.

When did they get those determination? And when--or how--I'll get mine?

This is when my head whispers, "You're still young, Ferdy. You're still 22. Just get a lot of money and upgrade yourself with knowledge and sincerity and you'll be fine."

Regardless, congratulation on the wedding, Ci Astri (@as3_kh)! Wish you a happy marriage and prosper life ahead. And for all people who got married at Hindu's Nyepi Day, I wish you all happy marriage.

Cheers!

Thanks to Teh Vitri (@AngelousArt) for the laptop and Reading Lights (@ReadingLights) for the cool ambience, btw. :)
